Getting out of the classroom and into the field is the best way to stimulate students’ curiosity and bring lessons to life. La Baule-Presqu’île de Guérande is a wonderful open-air laboratory for discovering history, the environment, the coastline and local traditions. The Groups Department offers suggestions for activities in line with school curricula.

These fun and educational visits will enable your pupils to discover the full diversity of the La Baule-Presqu’île de Guérande area. Our tour guides and partners will tailor their talks and tools to your class, from Cycle 1 to Lycée!

Because every child should be able to fully experience the discovery of the region, we adapt our programmes to ensure that the activities areaccessible to children with disabilities, and to offer a pleasant and inclusive experience that respects everyone’s pace.

Our Groups Department will help you organise your school outing, whether it’s a simple discovery day or a truly immersive experience lasting several days. Together, we’ll design a tailor-made programme that will leave a lasting impression on your pupils, combining discovery, learning and fun.

Based on your educational objectives and the level of your group, our team will help you build a coherent and enriching programme: cultural visits, nature activities, themed workshops, meetings with local players, or even fun experiences based on the region’s heritage.

Thanks to our in-depth knowledge of the area and our network of partners, we can guarantee you a seamless, supervised and memorable stay.

Nursery > CE2

Discovering the coastline, the salt marshes and the local heritage, the youngest visitors explore the Guérande peninsula like a great adventure playground!
Our tours are designed to awaken their curiosity and senses through simple, fun and participatory activities: observe, touch, smell, listen, imagine… Each outing becomes a moment of joyful, sensory discovery, adapted to their pace and level of understanding.

👉 The aim: to learn while having fun, with your eyes wide open to nature and local traditions!

CM1 > 3ème

Observe, question, understand: on the Guérande peninsula, every outing becomes a real exploration of the area.
From the salt marshes to the wild coastline, from the built heritage to the trades of yesterday and today, our visits encourage pupils to relate what they see to what they learn in class. Investigations, experiments and discussions give them a practical approach to the key concepts in the curriculum (geography, science, history, sustainable development, etc.).

👉 Objective: learn in the field, develop a sense of observation and link knowledge with the reality of the area.

Between the salt economy, the environmental challenges of the coastline, biodiversity, historical heritage and changes in local activities, our visits give meaning to the concepts covered in class.

Meetings with local players, observations in the field, etc. Pupils develop their critical faculties and get to grips with real-life issues.

👉 Objective: to apply theoretical knowledge to real-life situations, understand local dynamics and develop methodological skills for secondary school and beyond.

Nursery & Primary

Whether you run a leisure centre with or without accommodation (ALSH), our Groups Department can offer you tailor-made programmes for Wednesdays and school holidays. Barge trips around La Brière, nature workshops, discovering the seaside or the Guérande salt marshes. Between the sea, marshes and villages, the Guérande peninsula becomes a vast playground of discovery!
