Saint-Lyphard 's church is for real, dominated by a pink bell tower which lends the opportunity for a 360° panoramic view of La Brière. 
For a fully immerse experience, climb aboard a "chaland" a traditional flat-bottomed barge. Located at the very edge of the marshlands of La grande Brière, Saint-Lyphard is proud of its 800 or so thatched cottages.
