Labels and rankings

Labelling and classification of professionals in the Guérande peninsula: gain visibility and promote your offer!

Tourism & Handicap Brand Focus on accessibility

The Tourisme & Handicap mark is the only government mark dedicated to welcoming people with disabilities. It recognises establishments that are committed to a proactive approach to accessibility and continuous improvement. It applies to all sectors: accommodation, restaurants, cultural sites, places to visit, leisure activities, etc. The Tourist Office can help you with your self-assessment, preparing your application and understanding the criteria.

Obtaining the label certifies :

  • Accessibility to buildings and services,
  • an appropriate quality of welcome,
  • clear information thanks to the four pictograms (auditory, mental, motor, visual).

Accueil Vélo® label Cyclists welcome

Joining the Accueil Vélo® label means becoming part of a national network of professionals committed to welcoming visitors by bike: accommodation providers, restaurateurs, leisure sites and activity providers.

Our region is particularly popular with cycling tourists: situated between the Nantes-Brest canal and the Atlantic Ocean, it offers exceptional economic potential for cycle tourism. As the arrival point for La Loire à Vélo (St-Nazaire), part of the Vélodyssée cycle route and the famous Vélocéan cycle route along the coast, the region is at the crossroads of major national and international cycle routes. With over 400 km of signposted cycle routes, it’s an ideal playground for cyclists, but also a real business opportunity for well-placed, equipped and labelled service providers!

If you become a labelled service provider, you’ll benefit from a number of advantages:

  • An active network that facilitates exchanges and the sharing of best practice between service providers;
  • Greater appeal for your establishment
  • Increased visibility on key platforms such as France Vélo Tourisme.

The La Baule-Presqu’île de Guérande Tourist Office will support you at every stage: diagnosis, advice on how to improve and networking with other professionals already involved. Let’s work together to make our region even more welcoming to cyclists!

Ranking accommodation

Do you own a tourist accommodation or are you in the process of developing a project to obtain an official classification, a label or the use of a brand? There are several schemes available, depending on your objectives.

  • Classification: a benchmark for your customers
The classification regulated by Atout France follows a precise procedure and aims to clearly inform your visitors of the level of comfort and services on offer. It is a real marketing lever. Each type of accommodation is given a number of stars – from 1 to 5 – and a dedicated colour to immediately identify the level of service.
  • Labels and brands: promoting quality
Tourism labels and brands are based on a defined quality charter. They guarantee travellers a certain standard and, in return, offer you greater visibility thanks to a recognised logo, communication media, sometimes legal support or marketing assistance. They also make it easier for you to position yourself in the market by responding precisely to your customers’ expectations.

If your accommodation is not classified or labelled, a compliance visit by the Tourist Office teams is a paying service, bookable via our e-shop Pro (visit only carried out for accommodation located in the Cap Atlantique La Baule-Guérande Agglo area).
