Description
Discover a rich and varied cultural program throughout the year. Shows, theater, music, storytelling, readings, and family events invite young and old alike to share moments of discovery and emotion. Performances take place at the Athanor Cultural Center as well as at various venues throughout the region, some of which are quite unusual.
The cultural season also caters to young audiences through a program dedicated to students in Guérande’s schools. Each year, an author is featured and serves as the inspiration for a participatory project led by residents, with the support of a professional theater company.
Exhibitions of contemporary art, photography, and other artistic disciplines also punctuate the season. In addition, a series of lectures offered in partnership with the Samuel Beckett Media Library allows attendees to explore a wide range of cultural topics. Athanor is also a vibrant community space open to hosting community, professional, and private events.
