Description

 What is a Micro-Folie?

- A digital museum: “At the heart of a Micro-Folie lies its digital museum, which enables everyone to take a virtual tour of the region’s, the country’s and the world’s leading cultural institutions,” explains Patrick Guéguen. This museum was established with 12 founding institutions. These include: the Centre Pompidou, the Palace of Versailles, the Arab World Institute, the Louvre, the Musée d’Orsay, the Musée du Quai Branly-Jacques Chirac, as well as the Paris National Opera and even the Avignon Festival.
- A FabLab: This space is aimed at anyone wishing to develop their creativity (designers, artists, students, DIY enthusiasts, etc.); it is equipped with a 3D printer.
- A Virtual Reality space: It will offer a selection of 360° content (documentaries, shows, etc.).

Run year-round by the Culture en Folie association, chaired by Philippe Bauquel. Supported by the State, supervised by the Ministry of Culture and backed by La Villette, the Micro-Folie initiative aims to be particularly innovative.
