Description
After riding along the fishing port where the trawlers come in to unload their catch, you will follow the coastline as far as the headland of Pen Bron along the cycle route (which ensures the safety of our younger cyclists!). Your route will take you alongside the nature area of Pen Bron, which belongs to the ‘Conservatoire du littoral’ (coastal protection agency) and is listed as a European Natura 2000 site. When you arrive at the end of the sandy point you will have a view across ‘le Traict’, shellfish breeding beds, and the quays at Le Croisic.

Preparing your cycling route
- To follow the route easily, download the GPX file and import it into a compatible app or bike computer (Strava, Komoot, Garmin Connect, OpenRunner, etc.).
- This will allow you to follow the route throughout your ride, even offline, depending on the device or app you use.
Before setting off by bike
- Before you leave, make sure you have the essentials: water, a snack, a bag for your rubbish and, if necessary, a repair kit. Wearing a helmet is strongly recommended.
- The route combines shared roads, greenways and paths. Adapt your speed to your type of bike (road bike, mountain bike or gravel bike) and remain mindful of other users.
- Some sections pass through sensitive natural areas. Please stay on authorised paths, respect the environment and ride carefully throughout the route.
