Situated in one of the ‘most beautiful bays in the world’, Le Pouliguen is the ideal place to set off from its harbour for a boat trip. Keen to preserve its heritage, the town offers a unique experience aboard a replica sardine boat!
The ‘Poulligwen’ is a replica of a late 19th-century sardine boat. Built in 1992 to take part in the ‘Bateaux des côtes de France’ competition in Brest and Douarnenez, it won fifth prize for rigging and construction in its category. It can be seen in Le Pouliguen harbour. An information panel is located nearby.
