This sandy beach, nestled in the heart of the rocks of the Côte Sauvage and near Pouliguen, is ideal for practicing board sports in all seasons. Nomas surf school offers courses and initiations.
At low tide, this is the paradise for fishing on foot !
Lifeguards watch the beach during july and august.
The quality of the water is judged excellent and regular since few years.
The Govelle beach is supervised from the 4th of July to the 31st of August from 1.30 pm to 7 pm by the SNSM lifeguards.
Animals, even on a leash, are not allowed on La Govelle beach from June 15th to October 15th. It is also prohibited for large groups.
It is forbidden to smoke and light beach fires on the territory of La Govelle beach.
From the beach you can join the walking trail "Les Granits de Batz" (13km).
