The La Baule – Presqu’île de Guérande Tourist Office is the first in France to be awarded the LUCIE 26000 label, a major recognition of its commitment to responsible tourism. This label provides a framework for concrete actions: reduction of environmental impact, support for local players, continuous improvement of the welcome and guidance towards more sustainable experiences. It also guarantees a progressive approach to serving visitors, encouraging soft mobility and respectful discovery of the region.
The Office is also certified Qualité Tourisme™, a guarantee of an optimised welcome, attentive listening and close collaboration with local partners to strengthen the region’s leading economic sector.
As part of its commitment to inclusion, the destination has 9 offices with the Tourisme & Handicap label, ensuring easy access for all 4 disabilities: motor, visual, hearing and mental, thanks to specially adapted facilities and trained teams.
These commitments reflect a strong desire to offer tourism that is pleasant, useful, attentive to everyone and respectful of the environment.
