      • How do I book a beach hut or tent?

        La Baule’s beach cabins and tents are managed by a single approved rental company, based on the beach on avenue de Gaulle.

      • Is it possible to park a motorhome in La Baule?

        Yes, La Baule has a dedicated motorhome park at 6 boulevard Guy de Champsavin. Managed by Camping-Car Park, it offers secure, serviced parking close to the port of Le Pouliguen.

        Overnight parking on the beach or seafront is prohibited.

      • How do you get around La Baule without a car?

        La Baule is an easy car-free destination!

        La Baule has a vast network of cycle paths along the coast and in the rest of the town. A network of self-service bicycles in a number of locations and a variety of professional hire companies make it easy to hire a bike.

        The Lila Presqu’île bus network runs to and from La Baule and the main coastal towns. Single tickets and booklets are on sale at the Tourist Office.

        And for short distances, it’s easy to walk to the beach, the town centre and the market!

      • Are there any teleworking co-working spaces in La Baule?

        Yes, La Baule has several modern, connected co-working spaces, perfect for teleworking by the sea. Better still, one of them is located within the La Baule TGV station.

      • Is it possible to fish on foot in La Baule and when?

        Yes, fishing on footis permitted in La Baule, particularly on Plage Benoît and in certain areas of the bay during high tides, provided that the minimum sizes and quantities authorised are respected.

        Before setting off, it is essential to check the prefectoral decrees indicating any temporary health restrictions (pollution, contamination, seaweed, etc.).

        Don’t forget to check the tide tables before going out: they are available free of charge from the Tourist Office and on the website.

      • Do the beaches of La Baule have access and services for people with reduced mobility?

        Yes, the resort has been awarded the Handiplage label. There are a number of access points all along the seafront, equipped with level paths, tiralos, adapted showers and accessible first-aid posts. Reserved parking spaces are located in the immediate vicinity of the main entrances.

      • Are dogs allowed on the beach?

        Dogs are allowed on the beach from 15 September to 15 June. During the summer months, dogs are not permitted on the beaches.

      • Where can I park for free in La Baule?

        There are several locations:

        • Along the seafront.
        • The Place des Salines car park, which can be reached from the town centre via the Maurice Chevrel bridge.
        • La Poste car park, where you can park for free for 1 hour.
        • The Nord de la Gare car park, which has a blue zone (with a disc) and an underground footbridge leading to the town centre.
      • Are there one or two stations in La Baule?

        There are 2 of them!

        1. La Baule-Escoublac” station, in the town centre, has ticket offices and regular TGV and TER train stops.
        2. La Baule-les-Pins” station is an SNCF stopover with no ticket office. You can get on and off TER trains if you have made prior arrangements (ticket etc).
